Yes, you must use…

DryBook Mobile for all of the water jobs you are getting.  A streamlined audit needs to include the use of DBM.  This is directly from Servpro Industries.  The Servpronet website initially has left room for interpretation, but our official interpreter(Fred) has gotten the word directly from Gallatin that DryBook Mobile must be used for water jobs. The website will be updated soon.  Most franchises have found DBM to be MUCH easier to navigate than DryBook Desktop.  It is easier to have the readings noted in the field instead of dropping everything on to someone’s desk when you come back in.  This creates quite a backlog in the office. And, unless it is a State Farm or American Family job, you only need 2 readings.   With the implementation of WorkCenters later this year, it makes a lot of sense for EVERYONE to become familiar with DryBook Mobile.  You will not have DryBook Desktop at all.  It will be rolled into WorkCenter office.  But that is a topic for another day.
